Honestly i expected many to Vote for Alekona or Others.While punters opting for Noble Prince was on expected lines after the previous WIN , The choice of Southern Empire was a bit of a surprise if one were to go by FORM and recent record.I did Vote for others.Would like to know from the visitors on the reason for opting for Southern Empire ?.

ReplyDeletei voted for southern empire for the maharaja cup because it ran behind bourbon king in a 1600 mtr race and that was an indicator of form for me. to run behind bourbon in a 1600 mtr race is no mean task. also lion heart who ran 4th there went and won a class 1 race with 63 on its back. i beleive that was indication enough for me. but i dont know why it performed the way it did. i guess the connections would know better.
5) SOUTHERN EMPIRE SHOULD WIN THIS FROM NOBLE VIEW AND GRUEZI. I DON’T LIKE BOURBON KING TO PLACE, IT WILL STOP AT 2000 MTRS, I THINK.
this was my comment in my blog for this race. bourbon found the distance too much, gruetzi probably needed the run, noble ran a game race but was beaten.
as far as set alight is concerned my comment was as follows.
ReplyDeleteSET ALIGHT ALL THE WAY. SHOULD COME HOME 3 LENGTHS CLEAR, BUT NOT WORTH A BET AT AS MUCH AS 70 PAISA.
NOBLE VIEW SHOULD RELISH THE DISTANCE AND IS RECOMMENDED AS A DECENT SHP 50 % AND PLACE 50% BET, OUT OF A UNIT OF BET.
IF THERE ARE ODDS AVAILABLE FOR KICKINGKING TO COME LAST OF ALL, HAVE A GOOD BET ON THAT TOO.
it won like a champion. but one thing i must say here is that it has beaten very mediocre horses and i hope set alight is actually what we saw. we got to see what it does with an animal called fantastic quest.
