SET ALIGHT should win The Maharaja Morvi Trophy for Indian horses 4 years old only to be run over a distance of 1400mts

Hi Folks,

Set Alight should resume her winning spree by annexing The Maharaja Morvi Trophy for Indian horses 4 years old only to be run over a distance of 1400mts in a canter. She is kept in immaculate condition and should tackle this opposition to bring home the Hoodoo Trophy. Generally horses winning here fair badly in Indian Derby. I suppose trainer Pesi Shroff is not superstitious. In The Royal Calcutta Turf Club Trophy a handicap for horses rated 90 and above(Class I) to be run over a distance of 1400mts, I strongly fancy Cotswold Arms to Red Romeo the odds on favourite here. Cotswold Arms according to me is a pure Class I horse enjoying a rating of 104 point officially whereas Red Romeo is placed at 81 points. Now if taken into account this factor it is a difference of 23 points plus Cotswold Arms is claiming 5 kg additional allowance. Well if Red Romeo has to win it will purely be on jockeyship and even though it enjoys weight difference do not forget it will carry some over weight. Hence one should take a chance either by eating or by playing each way Cotswold Arms. Similarly in The Sir Rahimtoola Chinoy Trophy a handicap for horses rated 60-86(Class II)to be run over a distance of 1600mts, Secret Pilgrim being a pure Class II enjoys a wafer thin advantage over Ikaria which had a very hard race last time out. Both will have a fight on hand. For The Sir H.M.Mehta Trophy a handicap for horses rated 40-66 (Class III) ANTONIOS looks a cinch for the day inspite of Southern Summit having the advantage of a good mock race. My rest of the speed ratings for the day are as follows:

  1. Mr.Jimmy. Your ratings are brilliant. But for Seastorm, Cotsworld Arms would have won today. Antonios indeed turned out to be cinch. So did Ecstatica. Your hard work is really appreciated. Thank you.
