Improved Mark Of Gibraltar trained S.Ganapathy is well placed to annexe the V.T.Velu Memorial Cup. Both Sugar Ray and Mark of Gibraltar have together in RNo.149. At that Mark Of Gibraltar was giving precisely 3kg to Sugar Ray and it was observed that Sugar Ray was led from almost the bend and finished 3rd whereas Mark Of Gibraltar was 6th at the bend and came with a flourish to finish an eye catching 2nd. To-day though it concedes 0.5kg extra, the extra furlong will be more suitable and hence should win this cup. In fact out of form stable of S.Ganapathy have another good runner in the form of Phoenix Reach in the seventh race which just lost last time. To-day with 200ms. less to travel and if produces the form of last run, will be hard to catch. In Santorini Star Trophy the much talked about Red Renegade is way ahead of Systematic on speed rating. Also one should not forget that Red Renegade has come close 2nd to Captivating in Winter. In The Maj.Newton Davis Memorial Cup I strongly fancy Noble Sacrifice to win. 590 - it is running in this class with a disadvantage of 6.5kgs hence chances were dim to win but can place on tote where four places are given. Hope your query is solved and in future you require any working of a particular horse do hesitate to write. I appreciate people who write with names would go all out to solve their query. Also you will appreciate that on accunt of 10 races with approx. 120 horses running we have to skp certain horses with less chance in order to furnish my views earlier. Anyway many thanks for having such query. You are always welcome in future also for any centre you require.
