Hi Folks,
Sea Star trained by C.D. Katrak and to be ridden by Imran Chisty has the best speed to win the feature event of the races to be held to-day. Sea Star faces the strongest test to his stamina against two seasoned campaigners. In the past it was tried in 1800mts at Pune and it failed miserably, probably it was too early in his age. Cabriolet is running after a long gap and hence has herculean task to match the speed of Sea Star. In handicapping Sea Star is way ahead of Cabriolet and marginally ahead of Mr. Greedy. Hence looking at the above factors and also having good initial speed to last the grueling mile distance, I feel Sea Star should romp home from Mr. Greedy. In the Racing Journalists Trophy Emerald Star on account of good morning track work is well placed to win this event. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:

Dear Allena,
ReplyDeleteJust because the tips did not click please do not bemean somebody who has been giving his ratings for ages. When it works he may not expect bouquets but when it does not click please do not throw bricks.
It is in poor taste.
Swamy
Allena,
ReplyDeleteFirstly thanks for not only abusing me but my system. Well you are not aware that as the season comes to an end many good horses even though are superior are not tried. If you feel my postings are bad and crap please do not visit the blog. Just read it and give a skip. When it clicked in the past up-teen times regularly did I ask for any Shaabashi? No. Even to-day if swamy tells me to stop whereby the name of the blog is not spoiled, will do it willingly. Its a shameful think that a person spending his precious time gets this treatment. The moral of the story is just give regular winners free of cost that's all. For a change please send me your selections on my e-mail this week and let me judge your knowledge of racing.
Jimmy, it was apparent that class beat the speed of Sea Star, even though it had such superior figures as compared to the other 3 runners. What does this imply? Could you shed more light on this, please?
ReplyDeleteDevilz,
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right in saying that though Sea Star had the best speed rating, it had no class in front of Mr. Greedy. Having finished a poor last I would conclude that Sea Star can never be trusted over 1400mts and of course not in this class. Have no excuse and take the blame for having tipped it as DB. Most surprising was all the others finished ahead of him and I would conclude with only two things i.e. either it could not travel the distance or was not on job honestly which only the trainer would know. Its always the end of season wherein many trainers do not try honestly even though a horse comes with good figures of speed. Anyway thanks to all for support and would inform you all that will stop giving my views after the Mumbai season ends as I had promised to Swamy earlier to continue in his absence and keep the blog alive.
