The Prince Pradeep Trophy wears an open look and the winner should emerge among Golden Shadow, Meticulous, Armstrong and Rudolph Valentino. Meticulous on the basis of last run wherein it was leading till beaten by the ultimate winner Realtor appears to have an edge over the other runners in the fray for the Prince Pradeep Trophy, the main event of the races to be held today. Golden Shadow though running for the first time this season and Armstrong which was last till 800, 7th till turn, moved like a bullet, may add spice to the finish. Hi Folks,

Fly By Wire, 6th till bend, flew on the outside to be 2nd to Classic Art in Rno.74. Should relish the extended trip and according to me on the basis of its finishing efforts,has an excellent chance to score in the Lingapur Trophy (2,200m), the main event of the races to be held today as he is in fine nick . Gentlemans Deal 6th till bend, came on powerfully to be 2nd and is the one to watch out. My rest of the speed ratings for the day are as follows:

Pythagoras raced in the frontbunch till distance and weakened to finish 3rd to GRAND RAPID over 1000mts as a favourite, will find extended trip hard to travel. Whereas Zycon led till beaten by the winner at the post by Alborado. With 100mts. less to travel will be one all have to beat on current speed rating which is very much superior to others. Pay Day debut run, working well a good place hope. Earlier in the month of November it was seen finishing level alongwith Come Together a subsequent winner here. Is in fine condition and should place here.

Speed Ratings for 6th December, 2008 - Bangalore Winter Races

Hi Folks,

The Bangalore Turf Club Trophy to be run over a distance of 1200mts for Class I horses has an open look, the feature event today. Diamond Hunter, Rhapsidion Snow, Woman On Top and Queen’s Guest are the frontline contenders to lift this prestigious trophy. Of the lot Rhapsidion Snow has the qualities of making start to finish affair and being in the best of form, can easily win this race from others. In Race No. 159 in Bangalore Summer it took charge and won fluently over 1400mts in her summer campaign, penalized still has a bright chance to score over this shorter trip. It likes to accelerate being a one pace animal. Whereas Queen’s Guest no doubt blew the field away over the same trip in the IInd class, retains winning form, should defy the penalty and will try to add spice at the finish and give another stout hearted performance in this terms race. Remember it has yet to race alongwith top class sprinters in Class I. Nevertheless it will be an interesting race to watch. May the best horse win as even in handicapping all except Queen’s Guest are closely matched. Laslty I feel amongst the lot Rhapsidion Snow commands tall respect among the others with her class, performance and the workouts. She is in forward condition and has been well tuned to the minute to tackle this opposition. In the Hoysala Trophy Succeeding Star was seen finishing unextended fair 3rd to in-form ARISTOS over 1400mts last time and will be travel better over this mile trip with the benefit of run. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:
