Exclusive Grey trained by R.Foley, an expert in producing winners from out of form horses, holds an edge over others in The H.H. Sri Chamaraja Wadiyar Memorial Gold Cup the feature event of the races to be held here to-day. The horse was never off the bridle when winning in the last outing with plenty in hand and though has taken promotion to the highest class one important benefit the horse will gain is, good horses like Diamond Hunter, Rare And Precious and Lionheart will be conceeding chunks of weights and also the above horses are not resembling the same form like in the past. Also with 7kgs less on its back will enable Exlusive Grey to match strides will enable him to clock a better time than when it ran 1400 last outing. The real danger here can be Sunny Baba which won the last race in lower class and was only a fraction short of breaking the course record which has tempted Niel Darashah to have a go in this class. One can also make note of Jersey Pride fancied by the jockey but does not come in my working. The Madras Race Club Cup looks tricky and Mercutio on the basis of past form looks better than Best Time and Handsome Falcon to score here. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:

Hi Folks,

Champ Forever has regained lost form as exhibited in the last run wherein it finished an eye-catching 2nd, is fancied strongly to win this cup. Also in the morning trials it is moving impressively which hardens my choice for it to win the feature event of the day. In the P.G. Reddy Memorial Cup Clever Ploy should complete the coveted hat-trick. The horse seeems to be improving with each run and longer the distance it should travel better. Maximum City is the one that may cause upset if any as the horse is regaining form and one should ignore last run as it has also improved tremendously. One can safely lay a place bet on it. N RAO :- He has 1 win from 77 runs.No great chances for him on 2.9.09.However Al Jadeed is in the odds and is the favourite in race 7.Is the race going to be set for him?

A VATSALYA :- He has engaged the in form Jockey S JOHN in 4 mounts & J H CRISTOPHER in one mount.He has only 4 winners in the season with 104 runs with a poor 3.85 %.Will he be able to get a better win % on 2.9.09

SATHEESH :- After a great run last season is nowhere in the current season with just 3 wins from 99 runs with a % of 4.08.Looks to have 4 chances but looks good in only 1 race with CHAMP FOREVER.
