My Views on the Three shortlisted Races

Second Race :

Taanush , Maseeha and Lahinch are the Three Horses in with a chance.

ROCOCO , Firey Fortune and Dreaming are coming in after a very brief break and inspite of the relative merit of these HORSEs one cant bet confidently as performing in long distance races within a short period is not easy.

At best Dreaming can be a handicap chance.

The other TWO can be ignored.

Of the rest , Lahinch is the classiest Horse and has had a warm up race recently after skipping the pune season.Merit is never an issue though fitness could pose problems.The Horse has also had some set backs even earlier on in its career and hence is a risky betting Proposition.However with the allowance jockey opted the intention to Win is visible and hence I expect the Horse to shine today .

Maseeha , performs well when least fancied and can come into contention if Taanush decides to play pacemaker to stable mate Lahinch.



Fourth Race :


ANGELS GLORY is ( or rather should ) the WINNER.Does not need any detailed explanation.

La Joie De Vie is the only possible threat.You can forget the rest.



Fifth Race :

Carlos , Arkhos , Simple Smashing , Party Celebration and Mysterious Star come into contention in this class 3 race.

Aquadisiac is coming after a long layoff and set back and is to be ignored though it is a cut above these horses.If CARLOS is in the money Aquadisiac would not even tried.SO best avoided.

Carlos has been very unlucky on many occassions .Tograllu can prove to be the lucky Mascot.The bloodlines of the Horse may not be impressive when compared to the rest of the field but due to the CONSISTET performance One can consider backing this Horse.

Arkhos has also run alongside Carlos in race 95 and was not unduly extended.This distance would be ideally suited this time and should be a good each way bet.Considering that in the previous outing the race was SET for OYSTER the 4 th postion should not be taken at face value.

Simply Smashing coming after skipping the Pune season came on well in the same race referred to above and could upset.However the Horse has not been worked since previous run and swimming record is also negative , hence iam skeptical as DAJI usually works the horses prior to the race.

Party Celebration and Mysterious Starr have participated in race 67 and though the STARR finished ahead preference has to be given for Party due to better saddle assistance this time around .Mysterious star is also drawn in DRAW 1 and hence is a good negative bet.


Narendra Lagad has not been very active for past 5/6 race meets and is the one with the potential to strike today when least expected.
