Selections for Sunday

These are my views for the day ; Bets for WIN or each Way based on racetime odds


1.

Seems to be a Bad race.I would prefer a place bet rather than a WIN bet .

Above all and Cabinda are expected to receive some support but being a vb race most runners have a chance to score.

Choice : Black Warrior and Ganador Place.



2.
Tommy Carmichael has better credentials than the rest.Not sure of his Staying prowess but if it lasts the Distance , should be a live threat to the rest of the runners.

Benfica's has the bloodlines but recent run was bad .Considering the weak opposition may place.

Premier Diva : Winner this season , so not sure if the intent to WIN would be there.In any case it is not worth a Bet.

Uruj : Can do well if it takes a level start.Should place by default.

Choice : Tommy Carmichael and Uruj.

Red Mesa : Coming to form.Should easily place.

Queens Court : Avoidable for WIN / Place.

Rising Emperor : Impressive Winner in previous outing.Can repeat.

Artillery : Horse is good but Jockey is not impressive.May place.

Sparta / Ptolemy / Mr Greedy : All coming to the track after a long time.better to skip.


Choice : Red Mesa and Artillery.



4.

Dance Maestro has competed with much superior Horses.Capable of a upset.

Everybody Counts : Has done nothing to merit support.Running after 5.5 months and hence form and fitness is a big ???.

Golden Spurs : Looking good.Can strike.

Catalyst :Has the class but last two runs were an eyewash as the Horse was never in the fray.May try here.

Amberogio : Non Winner since debut.So best avoided.

Green Valley : Choice of Jockey is suspect as Aadesh Kumar rarely does duty for IA Sait.

Choice : Dance Maestro and Goldens Spurs.



5.Very competitive race.

Blade runner : has come on after the debut run.Can do well with Mallesh in the saddle.

Exuberance : KPG Appu is back to his original Stable after nearly 2.5 years.Was banished after he lost a certain race on Rejuvinite as a youngster in Pune.The Horse has the class but may need a RUN to prove its mettle.

Indian Summer : Well bred youngster but Jockey declared to Ride does not inspire confidence.

Salva Regina : Competing after 3 months , but seems a class apart.If the Horse has not had any medical problems in this past three months , it is a SITTER.

Choice : Salve Regina and Blade Runner.


6.

Carlos : At this handicap it looks doubtful.Trainer should be contended with a WIN this season.

Spica : Ignore the previous run as the Horse is capable of an improved show.

Cairndhu : P Belose / long break / 1200 mts : Chances are not very rosy.

Red Indian : can tackle this Set .Should place by default.

Choices are : Spica and red Indian.


7.

Sucessor : conceding weight and hence looks doubtful.

Kiara : All set for a hatrick.Has beaten Juventus who later WON a graded race.


Aurora Aurealis and Bee Quick are both tracking well and one of the TWO is expected to fight it ut to the finish with KIARA.


Choices : Bee for you and Aurora Aurealis.



8.

Major Wager : has competed with the likes of Southern Empire.But the long abscence for nearly 100 days raises some doubts on fitness.

Ruby Rocket : Place ONLY.

Bonny Light : Will certainly PLACE.

Hitz : late finisher.Will relish the extra furlong.May upset.


Choices are : Bonny light and Hitz.




9.Another entirely forgettable race.

Desert Blue and Northern Prince will both PLACE.

Choice : Desert Blue / Northern Prince
