Hi all,

my understanding of the races is as follows ;

1.Straight fight between Star League and Artistic Emperor.Gift of achievement may have been an option but after TWO Long Shots on Saturday from Satish Narredu , i am not looking at this possibility.

Star League is SURE TO place.

Lunar Royale can ( repeat CAN ) place and offer some relief to the concerned Jockey as none of the other runners have any chance to even place.



2.Costa Mesa and Lotus Leaf are the 2 contenders for the HONEY DAY Plate and unless the Honey intoxicates the Jockey , it should be a One Horse Race.All said and done , it is not worth a BET at the ODDS and if it loses there will be several smiling faces in the race course.

The fite for the 3 rd post is open for bidding and hopefully the options will be known by race time.


3.Will TOMSK be able to pull it off and complete a Hatrick in the bargain.Pointers are negative.

Iaepetus obviously cant be backed for Strategic Reasons.

Southern Summit looks outstanding BUT will have to co ordinate with Inspiring Trust as they have had the common race of Autonomy to refer to.

Clever Ploy can be ignored as CUTE STYLE is the one which can trouble the bookies for Place.


4.Running Man and Touch of Paradise have to decide amongst themselves as who deserves to be in PARADISE.Aspiring Seven can Hope to place .


5.Fire of Joy can definitely provide joy of tears to punters if the Horse runs true to form.Distinctly Ahead may not be AHEAD of all the other runners and WILL finish a distance away from the Winner.The Rider declared to ride ABS FABS is the person who might be aware of its chances as C Alford for all practical purposes might not be able to do duty.

Racing is not so Simple for Puttana and Krishnan to Pick up races at their Will as several other factors come into contention.So tough task ahead for these 2 gentlemen.

6.ZAFAR the WHITE Horse may place ahead of several others.In the Zone would be carrying the burden of top weight as well as the punters Money and could turn out to be a White Elephant.Ghatala's Stars can start shining if the Jockey is up to the task.Will he prefer to B A STAR or a FLOP Master is something we cant guess now.



7.Some serious stuff at last

Diabolical : Even if Diabolical Plans are being cooked it is unlikely to Succeed.
Diego Riveria : WILL place by default.
Sweeping Sucess : Cant say with certainty but it may at best come 3 rd.
Splendid Surprise : Christopher has surprised all punters with his NIL RECORD.Can only SHOCK us in Mysore and Hyderabad.
Noble Prince : lets wait for the Noble Intentions to come through.
Retribution : Lisa needs VISA.Air Ticketing Agents cum Punters PLEASE help her with the formalities.
ALEKONA : If the Jockey does Justice to the Ride can walk away with the Chief Justice CUP.
Azureus : name twister will find treasure in home land.
Classic Sky : Sky likely to be cloudy at race time.
Vanquish : Whom to Vanquish ??
Cotswold Arms : No arms only ALMS for Ryan Marshall.
Alterio : Cant Alter the course of the race.
mothers Pride : has no pride to fight.

Honestly i am tired of seeing the same old horses being fancied and recommended by one and all.Most Classic Winners have floundered later and with many of them coming into the races after a long break it is not going to be easy.


8.is Star Presentation bred at Manjri StuD for it to Annex this Trophy.One needs numbers to be Lucky at the races and Lucky Number SEVEN has the credibility to PLACE.Queen Rania is a Filly with lots of potential and can upset the applecart.

9. Dhariwal can Act Smart on Sunday only if the Awesome Beauty is not ready for the Imminent COUP.The one eyed Super Woman can provide some anxious moments.



Well in case you guys were not able to get a feel of what was mentioned above , then here is the summary.

On money fancied Horses can be avoided for obvious reasons.

WIN :Lotus Leaf ,Star League, Southern Summit ,Fire of Joy,Alekona.

Place:Rain Man ,Cute Style , Touch of Paradise ,Hurricane Bay ,Zafar ,Diego Riveria ,Lucky numberslevin,Awesome Beauty.

Avoid :Artistic Emperor , Abs Fabs,In the Zone ,Sweeping Sucess.
