Bold Blast is well tuned up to win The R. Raghupathi Reddy Memorial Cup to be run over a distance of 2000m the main event of the races to be held today.In the Malakpet Cup Div I ignore last run of King Size. Shaping well in the trials and with good speed rating over others has an excellent chance to score. In the Division II See You There comes clear by at least 20points over others hence it can be played each way. In the Krishna Cup Div II my fancy is Freak Fantasy and in Division II it is a close affair between Page Three an impressive third to Red River Rebel over 1200mts and Ujjain which won his last essay in great style and also maintains fine winning form. An interesting duel is on cards as many other speedy contestants are participating. My rest of the speed ratings for the races are as follows:

Belle Dancer looks good as it was unextended 2nd to Chestnut Charmer over the same trip. Has vastly improved in the trials, has a good chance to win on account of excellent points in speed rating.

Both India Gate and Mayfair Girl look in good shape. Mayfair Girl in spite of second best in speed rating looks to be in good condition and being a Brave Hunter pedigree will give a good account of show. India gate has also given a good timing but distance will be a bit sharp. A very close affair.

Both Bold Blast and Maximise have race in Rno.214 wherein Maximise had pulverized Bold Blast by 5ls winning start to finish easily, by giving 6.5kgs in weights. Today Maximise has been penalized additional 1 kg whereas Bold Blast runs on same weights. Bold Blast is having two advantages over his rival i.e. had an educational run in Rno.74 and most important an excellent track work on 17.12 wherein it clocked 1200 1.25(-5) (ST) 1000/1.11,400/27. A pleasing display. Whereas Maximise is running exactly after 2 months which is a very long gap. Orochi no doubt ran a good race last time when it just managed to hold Blast In Class at the wire, was seen tiring at the end. Can fight for the minor placing at the most. Hence I strongly recommend Bold Blast each way.

Freak Fantasy should be able to hold Sugar Lady at the wire which was seen racing in the front bunch till distance and weakened to finish 4th last time to Portfolio over 1200mts for no apparent reason. Nevertheless Freak Fantasy being a speedy customer enjoys an advantage over Sugar Lady of nearly 25 points should be played each way.
