OASIS STAR for The Dr. S.C.Jain Sprinters' Cup

Hi Folks,

Oasis Star, who won comfortably last time out over 1400mts., retains winning form, should score an encore in the Dr. S. C. Jain Sprinters’ Championship, the feature event of the races to be held to-day. The horse which may give a tough fight is Rhapsidion Snow which in fact is tracking better but on the basis of handicap rating former has an edge. In the supporting event for the day i.e. The C.N.Wadia Gold Cup (Gr.III) to be run over a distance of 2400mts. for Indian horses 4 years old and over I fancy Noble Prince strongly. It has the benefit of good run at Bangalore wherein it came 2nd to Vanquish after a long gap of nearly six months. Subsequent track work at Mumbai is satisfactory. In fact one cannot play Yana on past performances, hence I strongly fancy Noble Prince. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:
