SPARK OF GOLD can win The Bangalore St. Leger(Grade II)

Hi Folks,

With odds on favourite Icebreaker running after a gap of nearly 49 days and at cramped odds, looks doubtful. In fact Spark Of Gold though lacks in class has the potentiality to upset the applecart of Icebreaker. Spark Of Gold a final entry here, seems to be progressing at reasonable fashion with good victories at regular intervals and is just 6.5kgs inferior to Icebreaker in handicap rating. Spark Of Gold is good galloper and has warmed up at the right time when coming from 4th position winning easily and according to me longer the distance it will travel better. Has accelerated nicely as and when asked for. And St. Leger distance is a test for not only stamina but speed also. Hence one should take chance either by eating the favourite at cramped odds else play a small each way bet on Spark Of Gold. My remaing speed rating views are as follows:
