DAFFODILS for The Mayapan Trophy

Hi Folks,

Daffodils from M.K. Jadhav’s yard has an opportunity over his nine rivals to land the spoils for the highlights of the Special Race Day events i.e. The Mayapan Trophy. Daffodils, who was racing in the rear for most part of the journey in his last outing was seen covering good ground towards the end by finishing 5th. The rest of the runners here are quite inferior in terms of handicap as well as speed rating and since most of them have been recently been promoted except Monarchos nothing looks challenging at least on workings, and hence Daffodils with the benefit of an average good run shapes as the cinch bet for the day. Just compare her ratings to others when they all raced in Mumbai wherein it started the Mumbai Season with a rating of 41 and ended with a rating of 40 i.e. the handicapper has just reduced 0.5kg after four runs whereas most of the remaining runners have started from bottom and reached this class. This alone proves the class of the horse here. Another good bet which I would strongly recommend for the day in the card of seven events for the day which on the whole looks ppor is Royal Companion. I has good track work and last run at Mumbai was quite suggestive and hence one should play it confidently. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:
