WAR OF ATTRITION for The Tribute Trophy

Hi Folks,

The day's feature card of eight wears an open look wherein War Of Attrition, Red Dawn, Polariser, Arabian Pride and Sepita Tone are all closely matched. I for one would go with War of Attrition to be ridden by apprentice jockey Shammi Khan claiming 5kg allowance. Twice a failed favourite during the last mumbai season, War Of Attrition if kept in the front bunch will run a different race. On last three occasions it has come from behind and shown some good finishing power. But at the same time I am a bit shaky about the apprentice who of the lot has been average. But considering the finishing power the horse possesses I feel will triumph in the end as the jockey has just to keep proper position in the initial stages of the race. In the supporting event for the day i.e. The Great Strides Plate Div. II. Carmen has raced with better class of horses and is way ahead of Estevez in speed as well as handicap rating. Should prevail here and in fact looks as a cinch bet for the day. In the Div.I of the same plate I strongly fancy Sparkling Spirit on the basis of excellent track work but it has to beat Blumarine. My remaining speed rating for the card of eight events are as follows:
