SINE QUA NON for The R.W.I.T.C. Com Trophy

Sine Qua Non trained by P.Shroff and to be ridden by Neeraj Rawal was late coming 2nd to Nefyn over 1200mts. in her debut start at Pune. On this occasion was badly interfered at the start whereby the filly got disturbed and took time to set her rhythm back to normalcy. Later on was seen moving smoothly as a machine and came good 2nd. Sine Qua Non is blazing in the morning trials and on account of good speed rating at Pune, should win over this extended trip. Sea Warrior, Si Como No and well tuned up Autocrat should fight for minor placings. In The Sir Rahimtoola Chinoy the feature event of the day, it looks difficult for Sea Ruler to register a win in this class. If it wins good luck to the owners. But according to me if a 3yr old is running in Class II it must run below 52kgs. Sea Ruler looks out handicap, only good track work may come to his rescue else it can be anybody's race. No doubt it is one of the top colts in the fray for the high profile races this season and having won from last three starts, earned a good reputation as a 3 year old. Remember it just managed to beat Harmonica an average filly slated for Kolkata 1000 guineas this season but earlier got the better of Messalina which vies for 1000 guineas at Hyderabad. Despite this I feel Sea Ruler is meeting a good set of performers and MAY find it difficult to return victorious. My rest of the speed ratings for the day are as follows:
