SANS PAREIL all set to win The Eveready Calcutta Derby (Grade I)

Sans Pareil trained by in form S.S. Attaollahi who seems to have improved his performance lately, won impressively over the Derby trip in the Oaks wherein it decimated the field. It has improved tremendously since last Bangalore Summer when Aboline had litrally hacked Sans Parei in Derby. On rating Sans Pareil is almost at par with Aboline. It definitely holds an edge over others in the Eveready Calcutta Derby Stakes, (Grade I) being the stellar attraction of the races to be held on Sunday. Bruckner a Final entry along with Sans Pareil here, can cause an upset and will run a good race. He is a winner of two races in Mumbai and has been tracking brilliantly. Nevertheless, he has yet to travel this distance. Taking, the pros and cons into consideration, one is inclined to opt for a good bet on Sans Pareil. In The Alokananda Stakes for three-year-old fillies a straight contest featuring Art Excellence and Strike A Deal should take place. Art Excellence with Mumbai based Neeraj Rawal astride appeals the most on superior speed rating. My rest of the speed ratings for the day are as follows:
