MYSORE INCIDENTS INVOLVING JOCKEY & TRAINER

 

The Stewards decided as follows:

 

a)   To declare trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra, a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from 12-7-2011 to 11-7-2013 (both days inclusive) for not running his charge PARTY TONITE on merits in Race No.46 of the Mysore Winter Races 2010-11 run on 22^nd December 2010 thereby contravening Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

 

b)   To declare Jockey Khurshad Alam, a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from 12-7-2011 to 11-7-2012 (both days inclusive), for not permitting his mount PARTY TONITE to run on its merits in Race No.46 of the Mysore Winter Races 2010-11, held on 22^nd December, 2010, thereby contravening Rule No.159(a) & (b) of the BTC Rules of Racing.

 

C)  To declare Mr. Sajid Qureshi, a disqualified person under BTC Rules of Racing with effect from 12-7-2011 to 11-7-2014 (both days inclusive) for the continued violation of the BTC Calendar Notification under the heading �Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training and Racing and Anti-doping Control� and negligence in the discharge of his duties as a trainer thereby contravening Rule 114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing and fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- (BEAUTY ON DUTY � first case), further fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- (BEAUTY ON DUTY - second case), further fine him a sum of Rs.15,000/- (EVANSTON) and further fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/- (CALLIDORA) for contravention of BTC Calendar Notification under the heading �Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training and Racing and Anti-doping Control�.
