Fry Day Choices

These are my views on the shortlisted races ;

1 st race.

Small field yet picking the Winner is a strenous task.I would ignore COMPTON STAR for absence of good saddle support and SUAVE for the Distance.Of the rest if NEIL Darashah injects the performance boosters then Badge of honor could WIN.As that is not in public domain , it is safe to avoid this Horse also.

Star of Excellence and Cherika can be considered based on prevailing odds.Rapido Gonsalves may find it difficult but cant rule it out.



4 th race .

The First competitive race seen in bangalore for Youngsters.Considering the stake money offered , Iam sure most of the Horses would be given a good ride.

Fleeting Arrow was the most impressive Winner amongst debutants and hence should get first preference.The Outside draw could prove some discomfort but the breeding of the Horse should take it through this 7 furlong trip.

Mind Me and Spark of Isis may find this distance a bit tough and hence avoidable.

Blood Stream is well bred but coming from Mysore and hence is a ???.

Clouseau was given a horrendous ride last time and can do well if the Jockey is upto the task.SHOULD easily Place.

Seiliger the debutant is tracking extremely well but can the Horse beat so many Winners.Doubtful.Should be the dark horse to Watch out for.

Excellent Ability was backed last time but was unable to deliver.Is well bred and can surprise.

Gentle Knight is from a top quality Sire and others may look ordinary but may need a very GOOD ride which cant be expected when the stable fancy is not this Horse.

Prince Ville is the Prefered Horse from the stable but choice of Jockey is not encouraging.The previous WIN was not impressive and authoritative.Can / May SCORE but with Srinath always avoidable.

If one were to go by all this GYAN , then better to stick to Fleeting Arrow , Clouseau , Excellent Ability and bet based on the odds.a small bet on Seiliger for place may fetch good dividends.



6 th race .

Should be between Hesperus and Upper Crust.Woman on Top is also in with a decent chance.

Pastiche has not beaten any worthwhile opposition in the last 3 outings and has only beaten all wornout and jaded horses.

Woman on Top though merited cant be backed with certainity as the Trainer is not reliable and consistent with any of His wards.

Badge of Gold is also participating but WILL they even make an effort WHEN the Joint Ownership horse is in the fray ?

Associator rated 48 ( in effect 20 - 50 class IV Horse ) and a NON WINNER participating in this CLASS 1 Race is a Disgrace to the EVENT.


7 th race.

The best horse in the field is Sugar Blaze but the Horse always peeps at the Bookies enclosure and performs depending on the ODDS ,and hence can be ignored.A Winning bet on a horse running 1400 mtrs and top handicap is too much of a risk.

Carra Mia was prominent in race 103 until the last 100 metres and hence SHOULD be there in the FINISH.The Horse will reverse the position with Woman in Charge.

Among the rest , Amazing Speed is a genuine class II horse but may find the distance sharp.Should easily place due to Jockey Merit.

Alekona may at best place.

Flaming GLory has negative change of equipment and ignored.

The likes of Panchakshari and India Shining may not SHINE in this august company.



8 th race .

Super Woman is a one eyed filly and hence a risky betting proposition , particularly at 60 kgs in Division II.

Owners and Trainer had their FILL last time on Lush Foliage by Injecting some Banned substances.After being disqualified , it is expected to run normally , and hence one cant expect it to PLACE with Rajesh babu.

Dock of Bay and Sunny Land should be there in the Finish.

Long Shot is ENFORCER.


10 th race .

Top of the Class and Colonel Duff are my preferences.

River Island had beaten UPPER Crust and finished Second to Woman on Top ,in bangalore Summer season and is now in this lower class 3 compared to class 1 .That itself conveys that ALL is not well and hence this HORSE may not perform well as a favorite.

AFEA and Sporting Master have changed equipment and can be of some help to the bookies.
