some pointers for the day ;


Secret Affair , Super Man ( Blue Daffodils ) , Victory Star .

The first named is speedy and if taken to the front can upset.

Super Man's breeding suggests that it would do well over longer distances but on DEBUT the distance should not be an issue.Should easily Place.

Blue Daffodils has had 2 suggestive runs but considering that Victory Star from the same Stable is in the fray , this Horse can be avoided.

Victory Star is from Victory March which was a class 1 quality horse and hence should do well.

Choices : Secret Affair ; Each way ; Super Man : Place



Shyboy , Royal Flash , Nanjing , Engleheart.

First named looks doubtful over this distance.

Royal Flash has been improving with each run and looks good on handicap.

Nanjing's last 2 Runs were impressive and should have the better of Royal Flash.

Engleheart was sacrificed for AVEC PLAISIR in previous outing and hence has the best chance to do well at this bottom handicap and with very strong saddle assistance. LOSS of Ivanka also needs to be compensated.

Choice : Englegheart WIN ; Nanjing Place.


Fame n Fortune , Giannatassio , Rohans Glory , Wild Torronaddo.

Fame is well bred and can do well on debut.

Giannatassio is tracking well but distance could be an issue with this filly.

Rohan's Glory was a failure on debut and with Suraj can SHINE.The odds might not be very tempting but considering the opposition you cant expect much.

Wild is the dark Horse in this field.

CHOICES :Small WIN Bet on Fame N Fortune , Place bets on Fame N Fortune and Wild Torronaddo.



Absolute Reality , Focus , Il Divo , Alaska , Liberty Speaks , Pretty Commission.

First named ruled out due to Jockey.Focus is a genuine long shot.Keep an eye.

Il Divo seems to be the best among the Field.Should make amends for previous failure.

Alaska : Lagad ? Cant say which horse will be tried.

Liberty Speaks : Well bred Horse tracking well.Is in with a chance.

Pretty Commission : ran a close 5 th to Kiara and the increase in distance might be to the liking of the horse.

Choices : Liberty Speaks Each way ; Focus PLACE. Pretty Commission : WIN / SHP.

I would avoid IL FIVO due to the odds.If it is 4 to 1 and above , good bet.



Spinoza , Gruzei , Mountain Bear , Personified .

Spinoza is clearly out handicapped after WINNING Twice at LONGER ODDS.Gruzei also looks doubtful.Though both these Horses have competed with genuine class 1 Horses , they have done well purely on account of the handicap advantage.

Mountain Bear has been an expensive FAILURE having a ZERO record in Pune / Mumbai.Yet if the run in race 94 is seen , it would seem that the Horse has a lot of potential.May do well.

Personified ; Three Wins on the TROT with very good timings.If it stays the distance SHOULD canter.

Choices : Mountain Bear Each way ; Personified : WIN ( only if the odds are above EVEN Money )


Terre Blanche , War of Attrition , Almarina , Radiating , Bonny Light.

M Narredu always looks the other way if Haresh Mehta Horse is in the ODDS.Hence avoidable.

War of Attrition : Well bred and impressive finish in previous outing.Can do well.

Almarina : Lost the previous race at the gates.Is well bred and can upset.

Radiating : Keep an eye .Good chance for place.

Bonny Light ; attractively placed on handicap APPU can strike.

Choices : Bonny Light each way , Almarina Place .Small bet on Radiating .



Schnell , Call to Arms , Carlos , Heifitz , Generalissmo.

Schenell ; Last run was a mystery to one and all except the book makers.

Call to arms ; looking better on handicap compared to previous run.CAN place.

Carlos : If not TODAY may Never.However it does not mean that One should bet on itIf the odds are good enough take a chance.

Hefitz ; running after a short nap Last run Distance was a bit sharp.May be tried.

Generalissmo : genuine chance to upset.


CHOICES : Carlos Win (at 4 to 1 and above only ) Generalissmo Each way.Call to Arms Place.



The Shapoor Mistry Sponsored Million Races are expected this Month and hence ONE can keep an eye on the Horses from this Stable. Haresh Mehta has a lot of runners but no certainities.LAGAD might get a DOUBLE
