My choices for the day

Most racing patrons must have been happy after seeing the race card for sunday where Nine Races are scheduled . We do have 4 competitive races with some quality runners but the rest 5 races have only mediocre horses participating and as most of them are non performers the chances of upsets is not ruled out.

My views on the races are as follows ;

1.VB race , however Horses 1 2 3 5 8 and 9 have no chance whatsoever to even place.

Amongst the rest , Miss Marvelous and Everything Nice may be in contention for the Top Spot.The flow of money should decide the outcome of the race and the non jobbers would just go through the motions of the event.


2.Race for 3 year olds with no performance as of date and also involves horses which have drained the resources of the punters on earlier occasions.

However based on track work and Jockey merit , Different Opinion and Sunny Colors ( both linked ) should place.

I expect Supreme Harmony or Tomsk to fill the Third spot.


3.Mighty Heart looks doubtful on handicap.
Grand Madame may only place though the quality of opposition is poor.
Double Elite has consistent in Winter and is also tracking well.Should place.
Money in the Bank seems to be the best Horse in the field and can only do well if the Jockey is up to the mark.Paint me red is the Long shot for the day.

4.Luminious Gold has the services of a Good Jockey and places by default.

Clouseau has not shown any improvement since debut and hence doubtful.

Glorious Princess has run with some good Horses and has the Talent to WIN.

Blushing Beam : Looks very difficult.Sheer Gold : Should be there in the First three.



5.Horses 1 3 7 8 and 10 are RULED out completely for certain obvious reasons.

River Island has been very very consistent in LOSING during the Winter season but can WIN since most of the other Horses have not done well having beaten some not so impressive opposition.

Bee the Star ; may place

Born Beauty : is speedy , ma try start to finish tactics.Difficult to WIN .


6.Rhapsidion Snow : with Lisa Jones is a ?????

Running Bull : has the class to hack the field but it is upto W.Smith to execute the Job.

Royal Ambassador : Not here.Avoid betting .

Aurelian : Is a Front runner and a CLASS apart.Should easily PLACE.

Jet Fire : Not active due to some medical issues.Not sure of its capability under these circumstances.

Classic Sky : Distance may be SHARP.

Our Little Savage : May place .



7.Though this is a class IV race in reality it is a VB race with all the Junk from Bangalore participating.No recent performance , abscence of good track work , choice of Jockeys all indicate that anyone of the 9 runners can make it to the Winning Post.


8.Wonder Smile : Handicap is against the filly though it is highly thought off.

Flaming Lamborgini : Was gifted 2 races in Winter season.Looks very very difficult for PLACE.

Saptashwa : Pretty Consistent throughout the Winter Season.Should do well though PSC usually would not go against the Horses from MAM stable.

Easy : keep an eye , can place at longer odds.

Welcome Back : No good performance as of date.However has the services of a good jockey.May fite.


9.Adorabella is very speedy but at 60 kgs looks doubtful for WIN , may place.

Masquenada : Good horse but been failing due to wrong choice of races.Here too the distance may be short.

Powerful Dreams : Tracking well but has no form to go by.

Enforcer : WILL be in First / Second Spot.

Others are in the FRAY.


My place bets for the day ;

Miss Marvellous , Supreme Harmony , Double Elite , Glorious Princess and Born Beauty .

Aurelian , Chaila babu , Saptashwa and Enforcer.

Some of these can be backed each way also based on race time odds.
