Sunday Summary

These are my views for the day.


First race :

Too many contenders and pretenders.

I prefer to bet on known performers and hence would opt for a bet
on Illusive Girl each way and Prayatna Place.

Lightnin Blues is way ahead of this field but absence of track work conveys the impression that the Horse may be tried on a later date.

Savannah pride is for the bookies and WIn Pretty baby can at best come 3 rd.



Second Race :

Simple for each way and Just Great for place would be my choices.

Regal reform has to place by default.

Hall Mark may find it difficult here though it is tracking well.

Da Bomb is a Horse which can upset.




Third Race :

Zangi each way may be a reasonable betting proposition.
Touch of Paradise on the basis of last run SHOULD Place.
Long Shot : Orange Orchid.
Gracian : will be fancied but for having come 4 th to Miss Marvellous .I dont fancy the horse for Win though there is a positive switch in jockey.
Running Man ?? stable Horses are not reliable.Better to avoid.


Fourth Race :

Char Chand : Jockey is for the odds.May be tried .Good each way bet.
Flip your destiny : Definite Place as most runners are entrusted to jockeys with poor record.

Tomsk : Top weight.Won impressively last time .Chances of repeating are slim due to top handicap.
Originality : Won with Narasimha in saddle.Prakash can definitely do better.


Fifth race :

Fantastic Quest : Long way behind Set Alight , is capable of handling this set.

Sugar ray : recent track work indicate that this Horse can strike.Good each way.


Arktouros : Not here as Sugar Ray would be preferred.

War Child : Ryan Marshall ?? i guess no one is interested.

Mudeer Power : 7 furlong Distance may be too much.



Sixth race :

Adamaris : looks very difficult for WIN.

Timeless Treasure :Tracking extremely well.Well bred also.Hence a good chance for place.

the last Samurai : Has to place.Whether it can overcome the rest of the runners is something difficult to state as this Horse usually drifts out in the straight.Good each way.

Glorious Princess : Last run was very impressive.But Horses from this stable are very inconsistent.

Blushing Beam : Close 3 rd to Luminious Gold .The extra distance may suit the filly.



Seventh Race :


Lycia Falcon : Kolkatta Import.Well bred.Can do well.Good place bet.
Saptashwa : Has been very consistent throughout.Can make it a Start to Finish affair.
Van de Star : Lost out due to the top weight over 1400 in previous outing.Is a CLAS UP .May place.

Mothers Pride and Golden Shadow : may need this run.



Eight Race :

Brahmaputra and Jersey Pride : chances are bleak.

Vijayraaj : Keep an eye can upset.

Hesperus and Aurelian : Aurelian is a better option.

Woman on Top : Blazing the track.WILL PLACE.

Lady One / River Island : I would opt for a place bet only on LADY ONE.



Ninth Race :

Double Elite : faraway 3 rd to Grand Madame.The Horse which finished 4 th has WON a race subsequently.So should place.

Allegro : If jockey is up to the task can easily place.

A Run to Remember : Front runner who should do well.Good each way bet.

Anoosheek : Place bet for the day.


Last race :


Rebellious and Asiaticus : at the declared Weight looks difficult for place also.

Zafar : Speedy Horse which can do well.

Southerner : Tracking well but may need 1400 to prove credentials.

Tina's Triumph : finishing on well in Bee the Star Race.May easily place.


All comments in BLUE are my preferred choices for the day.
