Winner picking is going to be a difficult task due to various factors.

My views are as follows .

I expect some long shots to oblige on saturday.These are my choices ;

First race :

Power to Fight and Red River Rebel are the Horses which are likely to be in the odds purely based on the track work. None of the Horses in the fray including the favorites have superior bloodline and hence an Upset cannot be ruled out.

Horses 1 , 2 , 4 , 9 and 11 have NO chance for PLACE also.

Born to Shine and Gift of Achievement can be considered for betting based on the odds at race time.

I would for one avoid both the Fancied Horses listed above for WIn Bet.


Second Race :

the horses in contention should be Gleaming Sky , Hill of Grace , Let the River Run , and Thunders Roar.

Considering the Top handicap it is not worth placing a bet on Gleaming Sky.

Hill of Grace has come on after the not so impressive 4 th to Queens Guest.Should place easily.

Let the River run : not sure of its bloodlines .If it can stay the distance can be a live threat.

Attaturk : Last outing apprentice Jockey was doing duty in a terms race.Now this is a handicap race and hence I expect the Horse to do well.

Thunders Road : Place Certain.May also WIN.

Orientation : at this weight NO CHANCE.Besides the positive shift in equipment is not seen.

Strategic Partner : in spite of losing some ground at the start , came up well to finish a impressive third in the previous outing.However if you go by the record of the Horse you notice that it has NOT WON even at Hyderabad and hence that is not a positive sign.



Third Race :


Andronicus : 2 nd choice of the OWNER . ( Original Vel ) Top weight.May need this run.As always I avoid TOP weighted Horses in Division II.

Dock of Bay : One of the most inconsistent horses in the fray.Horse is betting centric and does well only if the Money is on the Horse.As that is something which is not known at present ,I would not recommend this Horse.

Surprise Package : Tracking well.May place.

Awesome Beauty : 4 th to the Classy Rimpuche.Jockey APPU is the preferred rider for this Horse but the Horse is still sporting Steel Shoes and hence avoidable for WIN.Also it has not been worked since last run.

Winning Ways / Enforcer : Looks like one of these TWO may emerge Winner.Enforcer has the handicap in its favor and can upset.Winning Ways did well to finish 3 rd earlier but can Sharookh deliver ????

Pied Harrier , Sunny Land : Definitely not here.




Fourth race :

Music Forever : The Horse was backed heavily in previous outing , but due to the rains the event was cancelled.Likely to start as favorite.Can do well if it maintains a straight course.

Sun Device : Micheal Eshwer is back.Horse is well bred and also tracking well.May place.

Standing Ovation . ?????????? I WOULD STILL GIVE IT nil CHANCE.To those who place a bet GOOD LUCK.

Pleasuring : Cant WIN.May only place.

Sheer Gold / Different Opinion : Can do well over this distance.The Horses which are capable of an Upset.



Fifth race :

Able Associate : expensive failure in Hyderabad.Chances of Winning over 1400 is remote.

Stormy River : No trackwork seen in race book.So anybody's guess on its performance.May / Can do well depending on fitness.

Your re Wonderful : Came with a late flourish in WINTER to finish a close 2nd.Should easily PLACE.

Spark of Gold : front runner with a lot of potential.Should WIN.

Lester : Long shot .keep an eye.

Clouseau and you Beauty : look doubtful.



Sixth Race :

Bee the Star : Not possible at this handicap.

Afea :should place by default.

Aperitini : long layoff.Could have had a set back.Avoid.

Adorabella : The first to get of the blocks usually.Should be in the First 2.

Born Beauty : Looking good .Can WIN.If odds are good enough one can Consider a WIN bet.

Movie Queen : No Show in race 17.But positive change of equipment.If the Horse is in the odds , it will definitely be in the limelight.



Seventh race :

My Choice is Wonder Smile and Guided Missile with Friendly Fire having a very good chance to UPSET.




Eight Race :


Fighting Star : Not here for WIN.

Milford : looks difficult at this weight.

Milagro : The earlier 2 nd to Star Wave makes it the favorite to WIN.Good Bet.

Superior Sunrise : Highly rated as a youngster in the previous year but has had its share of failures.Hopefully the change of name can bring about a change in fortune.Good each way bet.


Last Race :

Script ur destiny , Aelenia , In the Zone and Sugar Blaze.

Take your pick.

Mangalya Prarambh can be safely omitted.
