Flaming Ace, in good shape as evidenced by his track movements, has a good chance to score in the F. D. Wadia Trophy, (Gr 2) the feature on Sunday's Card at Pune. Aurora Aurealis from trainer Vinayak's yard should be involved in a close fight alonwith Flaming Ace. Aurora Aurealis the more experienced of the two and has matched strides with some of the top rated juveniles during the Mumbai Season. That should hold him good and this is the edge he enjoys over Flaming Ace who has been blazing the morning trials. However, both will fight right to the finish. Divine and Antonios are no mean pushovers and on their day can be a handful. Hence the FD Wadia Trophy will be an interesting battle indeed to watch live.
IL Divo runs again, this time over a five furlong sprint. The consistent performer looks poised to make a start to finish attempt to earn his maiden victory. The horses he is taking on, is well within his potential to tackle, and as such I would recommend him as the Day's best proposition. My rest of the selections in short as follows:
