Speed Ratings for 28th December, 2008 - Hyderabad Races

Reconnect pulverized the opposition over the same trip, should easily annex the 2000 Guineas as he is kept in immaculate condition and should tackle this opposition to bring home the second classic. Carte Blanche is also in forward condition and been well tuned to the minute. Only disadvantage over Reconnect being inferior in scales by at least 7kgs and if it has improved further can trouble Reconnect at the post. My remaining speed ratings for the day are as follows:

Menlo Park is the first choice here. Though odds on favourite it should canter in comfortable style. Was seen level with Sound of Nature - 82 points and caught the eye. Last run it took charge and was shaping like a winner, just went down close home and was 3rd to Vendatta. Casablanca was seen finishing on late to finish fair 4th to Ramasses. Mr. Don can place here.

Yanamaria has the best rating here and had an educational debut run, moving well in the latest trials, can get the better of Ruffiano. Yanamaria is also working well and can be played with confidence each way.

Chamatkar has the best initial speed . Last time out it was seen leading till distance and weakened to finish 2nd to RED RIVER REBEL over 1200mts. To-day with less distance to travel looks a cinch for the day.
