ANTONIOS for The Paranjape Eve Champion Trophy (Grade III)

Hi Folks,

Antonios trained by S.S.Shah has an edge over the rest of the field to win this Trophy event being the highlights of Sunday's races to be held at Pune. Antonios beat Riyasat winner of Oaks and Nora comprehensively in the Indian Derby. Hence at least Nora can be discarded but not Riyasat. Riyasat will be a live force here as it is prepared exceedingly with this cup in view. The track work on 13.8 inst. was superb and the last run is best ignored when it finished down the field. Yana though beat Diego Riveria comprehensively over 2000m is no doubt superior in scales to Antonios on overall career ratings but according to me it has not warmed up in trials as it should for the preparation of this race. Hence a battle is on the cards for the public to witness between Antonios and Riyasat. Another fact to be noted is trainer Shah has opted for this race rather than having a clash with Set Alight at Hyderabad. In conclusion I would recommend folks to back Anonios with Riyasat in place at nourishing odds. In The Rajaram Chhatrapati Trophy I fancy Dancing Glory which is seen blazing the trials and is in pink of condition and one and all should play each way as I dislike the jodi here which can be eaten. In the Classic Trophy, Scenic Silver looks home and dry. My rest of the speed ratings for the day are as follows:
