Hi Folks,

This Mumbai season it seems will be dominated by two trainers C.D. Katrak and Pesi Shroff and the pattern should continue till the horses of other trainers are ready. The day's proceedings should be dominated by Pesi Shroff in all probability since C.D. Katrak loooks to be on a low profile to-day. But I like only Spellbinder of the lot which ran a good 2nd to Midsummer Knight at Pune last season. Earlier also it was seen finishing on from back stretch and hence with extra 200mts.and excellent track work along with Onasis a subsequent winner here, can trouble the best over this extended trip and has a fight on hand. Track Wonder a late coming 3rd to Pure Elation also a winner here, is also blazing the track but can it beat the former on the extended trip and being an odds on favourite is a bit doubtful question for Nana Raghunath and N.G.Mccullagh to answer. Hence either eat or take a small chance each way on Spellbinder. In the F.K.Vakil Trophy the
supporting event for the day Blazing Spectacle on account of advantage of a run here wherein it ran unextended 3rd to Hereafter in the higher class, with extra 400mts. has the best chance to score from debutant Saint Vincent who seems to be blazing the work and according to some reliable sources has the class to win on debut as it is in good shape since Pune. But I would always prefer a horse with a good run. My remaining spped ratigs for the day are as follows:
