PRINCE OF ARGYLE

Prince Of Argyle is racing at the same rating of 17 in the 1st race on 23.6.2011 even after winning on 18.5.2011.
The rating had increased to 31 as per the acceptance for 1.6.2011 where it was withdrawn.
I never knew that after withdrawing the rating drops by 14 for the next run.Did You?

Race No.2. The Carnival Plate - (About) 1600 Metres, horses rated 25 and below.

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd, at their Meeting held on 15th June 2011 considered the analytical report received from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from b g PRINCE OF ARGYLE (trained by Mr. Vishal Yadav) which had shown the presence of Capsaicin - prohibited substance - the sample of which was taken after the said horse was placed First in the above race.

The Stewards noted the following :

The trainer/owner were given the option of sending the split sample of the urine for confirmatory analysis. The trainer vide his letter dated 11TH June 2011 informed the Club that he did not wish to exercise the above option.

Therefore, the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse b g PRINCE OF ARGYLE from the above race and revise the order of placings as under:

NANO BLUE I
SUPREME STRENGTH II
SADDLER III
ISINBAYEVA IV
TRACK WONDER V
