BLUE THUNDER for The Thunder Bird Trophy

Trainer P.Shroff's ward Blue Thunder who ran a late coming 5th to Attila a subsequent winner in Class III, over the same trip in his last run has vastly improved in the morning trials and should be able to annex this coveted trophy in great style. River Dragon no doubt came from the 7th position to finish an impressive 2nd to Il Tabarro, is fancied less due to poor showing of Il Tabarro yesterday. In fact Rajasthan Royals should run a different race. In the P.D. Bolton Cup, Premier Queen comes marginally ahead of both Star Attraction and Slickkit in speed rating and Premier Queen having beaten Star Attraction whilst conceding weight has a better chance to score here in the supporting event of the day. In the Meherban Trophy I strongly fancy Rose Bowl to win from the rest on account of excellent showing at Pune wherein it ran after nearly six months and came an impressive fourth. The verdict than was less then 2 lengths to Ares over 1200mts. Has been moving nicely in the morning trials and to-day with 200mts. more to travel, has the potential to win.
