Racing Pulse reviews for Saturday runners.

RACE 2
20 HILL OF GRACE
Queen’s Guest was another youngster to impress while beating the opposition pointless. There was support for Hill of Grace to upset but the daughter of Alnasr Alwasheek ran no sort of a race, perhaps not relishing the underfoot conditions and ended up a poor fourth.
20 STRATEGIC PARTNER
Strategic Partner who lost some ground at the start, came home with a wet sail to be an eye-catching third. This Hyderabad runner needs watching.
RACE 3
4 PIED HARRIER
Poetic justified the unflinching support by recording a facile win over the opposition in the 1100 metres Royal Command Plate. Pied Harrier, who was held up briefly along the rails, had to be switched out to make his run. Pied Harrier finished an eye-catching second despite a half-hearted effort. He could be too good to miss next time out.
17 DOCK OF BAY
Masquenada had been campaigned ambitiously in the terms races and since she failed to make a mark there, her handicap remained where it was after her maiden win. As such, the filly that had scope for movement on the handicap scale, looked a cinch in the M N Prakash Memorial Trophy (Div I) but the only question was whether the six furlong trip would prove sharp for her. Masquenada who certainly was a cut above the opposition, went into the lead from the word `go’ and held on comfortably to win from Dock of Bay who was simply outclassed.
RACE 4
1 PLEASURING
Aquitane recorded a facile win in the day’s opener, the Welcome Plate (div II). Ridden in restraint in fourth or fifth position till turning for home, Aquitaine was pulled out on the outside and the daughter of Valid Concept picked up speed instantly to win going away from the field. Joint favourite Pleasuring, who was in the second position, was left stranded by the eventual winner.
10 DIFFERENT OPINION
Different Opinion ran on to finish third. The filly has let down a couple of times as a favourite and she has bled on the last two occasions which makes fancying her even more difficult in future.
RACE 5
8 SPARK OF GOLD
The victory of Own Voice, who had gone down narrowly in his last outing at Mumbai, appeared a forgone conclusion and he justified such a tag, winning without fuss, leaving the field stranded. Spark of Gold ran on to finish second ahead of Kajuraho.
RACE 6
13 BEE THE STAR & BORN BEAUTY
Bee The Star just about lasted out to win from a late-finishing Born Beauty
RACE 7
14 ROYAL AMBASSADOR
Royal Ambassador who had won twice during the winter season, received support to the exclusion of the rest though the son of Royal Gladiator did not warrant such a support as his winning performances had not come in graded races.
16 WONDER SMILE
Welcome Back recorded an exciting win over Wonder Smile in the 1400 metres Usha Stud Plate. Welcome Back enjoyed a big pull in weight over Wonder Smile which ensured solid support for her in the betting ring. In a fast run race, Welcome Back raced a handy third ahead of Wonder Smile and took charge inside the final 350 metres as she was presented a dream opening in the middle. Wonder Smile too came into contention on her outside and the duo fought the entire final furlong, with the former prevailing by a whisker at the finish. Wonder Smile should surely profit from this run and make amends if she races in a handicap race. She may find it tough in the graded races as she will have to carry a stiff penalty for her three classic wins scored in the winter season.
RACE 8
5 MILAGRO
There is great deal of expectations on Star Wave who is reckoned to be having classic potential. As such, she went into the 1400 metres Mayor’s Cup as cramped on money favourite. She was not hard-pressed to win as the opposition was meek though Milagro showed out when finishing from behind to take the runner-up spot.
7 SANGINI
Sangini had it easy while sailing past Anosheek to win the Littleover Plate, over seven furlongs. Anooshek who enjoyed favouritism, led the field into the straight but packed up when the pressure was on.
RACE 9
22 SCRIPTUREDESTINY
Strong Minded ran on from behind to take the second spot ahead of Script Ure Destiny who will be a different proposition next time out if she is free of niggling problems. Some problem or the other has prevented this talented filly from living up to her potential
.

As a regular reader, last thing I am interested is in what racing pulse, cole, vel, bol and Indiarace review. We have come on this blog to read YOUR reviews and views... If I need to go to racing pulse I will, so I feel your hard work in culling the reviews is not going to be useful they will add to the clutter on this blog like I am very interested in seeing where 'standing ovation' finishes tomorrow, as a lot of space in this blog has been consumed by the discussion of that horse.

The author does calculations based on certain mathematical theories which have been formulated with experience.

We cannot be winners everyday. It is important that we have a budget and play exactly as per a plan so that even during periods when the "LADY LUCK" deserts us, we still do not end up loosing a lot of money."LADY LUCK" does favour everybody at some point of time and we make returns at that time.

Mathematics by itself does not work whenever human involvement is there.

An analysis is also made on the possibilities whch exist for the Owner,Jockey & Trainer and a reasonable surmise is made.
